There are few things as primal - and as revitalizing - as plunging into freezing water surrounded by a silent, snow-covered landscape. At Strandis, winter bathing is not just an activity; it's a tradition rooted in Nordic wellness culture that dates back centuries. The contrast between the icy lake and the enveloping heat of our sauna creates a rush of endorphins that stays with you long after you've dried off.
Ice & Heat
Alternate between the frozen lake and a hot sauna. The contrast awakens every nerve in your body.
Pure Nature
Bathe in the crystal-clear waters of Larsmo, surrounded by the peaceful archipelago landscape.
Health Benefits
Improved circulation, reduced inflammation, better sleep, and a powerful boost of endorphins.

The Ritual
Begin in the sauna and let the heat build. When your body is warm, step outside onto the snow-covered dock and lower yourself into the ice hole cut into the frozen lake.
The cold hits you instantly - sharp, electric, alive. Stay for a few seconds or a few minutes, then return to the sauna to feel the blood rush back through your body. Repeat. Each cycle deepens the experience.
